This original oil painting “psalm 176, Rice Farm View” is the view from Rice Farm Rd. in Brattleboro, Vermont looking over the West River valley on a luminous autumn afternoon. I painted this work “en plein air” on site while dodging cows in the meadow.
I call this painting a psalm as a celebration of the spirit in nature.
