Sweetness

Woodland Sunrise

I stood at dawn yesterday in this young hardwood forest,

savoring the autumn color,

with the realization that the sweetness and delicacy,

were due in part to the scenes brevity…

today it rains and the leaves fall.

Lovely, Roger. Your words brought me to those woods and to the realization of the sweetness of fleeting moments in our lives. Thank you. Ginger

Ay Roger…. enjoy the moment not what is happening next! Seriously though; gorgeous photo of a beautiful moment in time. I can visualize being there and feeling the crispness of the morning along with the light of the sunrise.

pero Ernesto, it was the recognition of the fullness of time that made this experience more rich 🙂

Hi, I get a feeling of here and there beyond the diagonal trees …. elusive light intrigues me in the distance. Changes in seasons marking the passing of time, and being thankful I am here in it.

I am finding that my composing photos is growing ever closer to how I compose paintings. Curious that it was ever different. Maybe I am just more aware of it. Thanks!
