Looking Deeply

Do you look deeply at art? In other words, do you see what you are looking at? This takes effort from the viewer. To place oneself mindfully (I love that term, using your full mind) in the present moment and critically viewing and feeling the emotions that rise. Noticing the details…

Good one, Roger. I loved entering the painting with the soothing sound effect. Often I do this myself with my paintings from you.  XOGinger

I am forever lost in your pieces. They captivate me on a visera level that is very emotional for me. It is nature and surrealism that I suppose is the reason I surround myself with your work. Thank you, truly beautiful.

Thanks to you both, it seems to me that you are “entering the work” and spending some time taking in the detail to great effect. I really appreciate that, an artist can ask no more from the viewer.
