This is the long range view looking west into Vermont from the summit of Putney Mountain. I have hiked this mountain numerous times and the view is always inspiring and different. This painting is heavily textured with many layers of paint creating the atmospheric show.

I call these paintings psalms in praise for the spirit that I sense in the landscape.
